Krasnodar companies present goods at international exhibitions in Turkey and Kazakhstan

Seventeen manufacturers are taking part in the goods displays organised by the region’s Export Support Centre and the Department of Business Development and Foreign Economic Activity, under the national project «International Cooperation and Export».

«Turkey remains an important trading partner for the region. Last year, it became the second-largest importer of goods from the Krasnodar Region, with a 140% increase in shipments. This confirms both the substantial size of the market and the presence of niches readily filled by Krasnodar Region products. Kazakhstan is another reliable partner for our region and one of the most accessible export markets. The country is a member of the Eurasian Economic Union, goods move freely across the border, and the business environment is familiar and straightforward for manufacturers from the Krasnodar Region. What is more, Kazakhstan provides logistical support for exports to neighbouring countries. For example, we are currently developing the China–Kyrgyzstan–Uzbekistan railway project,» said Yulia Prikhodko, Head of the Department for Business Development and Foreign Economic Activity of the Krasnodar Region.

At Foodist Istanbul, an exhibition of food, drink, and solutions for the food industry, ten companies from the Krasnodar Region are showcasing their own products. They have brought cereals, oilseeds and pulses, duck, chicken and turkey meat, as well as flour, tinned vegetables, confectionery, and a range of cooking sauces.

At the same time, six manufacturers are jointly presenting their products at KazBuild in Almaty, a leading construction-industry event in Kazakhstan and Central Asia. For the first time, the Krasnodar Region is acting as the anchor region, participating in the event in cooperation with the Moscow, Sverdlovsk, Smolensk, and Krasnoyarsk regions and St Petersburg.

Companies from the Krasnodar Region are presenting heating and water-heating equipment, wastewater systems, and industrial steam and hot-water boilers. They are also showcasing formwork spring clamps, in-situ concrete equipment, and handmade mosaic panels. Another Krasnodar manufacturer is displaying ceiling covings, mouldings, cornices, and other decorative elements at its own stand.

During the international exhibitions, regional companies will, as usual, hold product presentations and tastings, along with B2B meetings with potential foreign buyers and business partners.
