Krasnodar Region estimates cost of third pharmaceutical production line at 700 million roubles

The pharmaceutical company Yuzhfarm, based in the Krasnodar Region, intends to raise around 700 million roubles to launch a third production line, the region's Ministry of Industrial Policy has announced.

According to the ministry, one of the three new production lines has already been commissioned at the plant, while the second is scheduled to launch at the start of the third quarter of 2026. The first line is dedicated to the production of solid dosage forms — pills and capsules — significantly increasing production capacity.

The second production line will be dedicated to the manufacture of liquid and soft-form products — suspensions, syrup sachets, micro-enemas, gels, and ointments. The third production line is currently at the planning stage.

Total investment in the completed project phases has exceeded 200 million roubles. According to regional authorities' estimates, the new development will result in an increase in production volumes and tax payments to the budget of the Krasnodar Region. Moreover, around 150 new jobs have already been created at the plant.
